Nope, but I remember in college we used to have to have so many sources per paper. I would often use Google Books or whatever it was called back then to cherry pick sources to support my arguments instead of actually reading books. That's about as shady as I got in that respect.

Nah someone in my very fist Computer Science course copied a program off stackexchange and they literally got expelled for it. So right from the jump, everyone in our graduating class was scared straight as far as that shit goes lol.

Yes, on a book report in fourth grade, because I honestly didn't give a fuck

And then again in tenth grade when my teacher decided to assign us the song "We Didn't Start The Fire" as a two-week assignment because she was lazy as hell and just wanted to sit at her desk talking with the popular girls

God yes. It was very easy back in the day, too.

All you had to do was translate the copied material into a translator, back into English and then check for, and correct, grammar mistakes.

Those simple, free plagiarism checkers never caught me the 2 or 3 times I resorted to doing it.

Nope. In all of my papers I would cite at the end of every sentence just to be extra careful. I know there's rules where you can just do a long quote and cite at the end but I didn't care. Especially because they started using those programs to check your papers for plagiarism. It also extended the length of the paper each time too.

No. My writing is better than plagiarizing anyway. I could ace any written exams or papers. I prefer to be the one doing the writing; Kind of like a man who doesn't want anyone else to drive his car, using someone else's writing would annoy me.

I started plagiarizing/cheating once every single course after my teacher (with the most shiteating-est grin on her face ever) said "Hey, did you know you can plagiarize from yourself? Yeah, if you submit a work that you already submitted in another class, it's called self-plagiarizing!" The whole class went up in arms, but to no avail. School is a dictatorship, after all.

No. In fact one time in school practically my whole English class got in trouble for plagiarizing, but I was let off the hook and, oddly, praised in comparison because I just didnt do my homework at all. It was one of the more amusing outcomes of my bad habit of just skipping homework.

Most people have because most of us arent very savvy about citing sources. But that type of plagiarism is unintentional and likely not what TC meant.

literally more work for me to figure out ways to make something not sound like me, than to just type a fuckload about the shit they constantly talked about in a class

if the prompt wasn't about an assignment, even fucking easier to just type a whole bunch of shit that sounds important but isn't really

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

You still need to cite even if its a paraphrase. If you dont cite, it is plagiarism even if you changed the words.

Yeah, in elementary school. Just copied and pasted a whole essay off the internet. Didn't get caught the first time, but the second time was too obvious, heh. Never did it after that.

Yes. And then my teacher told me I can't use exact word for word from the book for my report. He told me to use synonyms to replace some words in the report and then gave me an A. That teacher was cool as fuck.

Not plagiarize, but I would feed answers to the girl sitting in front of me in Spanish Class back in 11th grade.

Our vocabulary tests were multiple choice, and she would put her notes under her desk so I could read them, and then I'd tap her shoulder 1, 2, 3, or 4 times depending on if the answer was A, B, C, or D.
