I also believe the penalty was not even VAR checked. This also makes 4 out of 6 games in which Argentina has a penalty in their favor. That's on top of: Mexico's coach is from Argentina and played with a non-sense formation against Argentina. Had Mexico won then Argentina would've been out of the cup. The coach was later fired btw. Tamim bin Hamad, Emir of Qatar, is the owner of PSG (the team who Messi plays for). This cup is the last chance for Messi to be "the greatest player" as the only thing he has not been able to do so far is win a world cup. While Messi is great, he is definitely not on top of his career anymore and does not deserve this specific world cup. We all know that Qatar being the host for the world cup was because of FIFA corruption and a lot of bribes.
