A lot of comics when they begin have "bullet point" joke lists. A 2 to 3 word phrase that reminds them of a routine they want to put in their set. Most used to just write it on an index card and place it on the stool that's on stage. Now they all use the notes app on their phone. Some also use it to time their set as well, so they know if they're talking to fast or too slow. --- It takes zero effort to be a good person. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Plenty of comics have used queue cards when working on new material. This is no different. Unless you mean young comics use them as part of finished sets. That is really weird.
