The live-action Grinch remains the only Christmas movie I still genuinely enjoy and I don't care who knows it.

I'm slowly warming back up to Home Alone and Christmas Vacation, though.

I just watched Christmas Carol with George C. Scott. Enjoyed it very much for a first time.

I have a lot of issues with Love Actually. It is exceedingly sexist. Surprised so many women like it. I hadn't seen it in years and watched with my fiance last year, who had never seen it. She... was not pleased lol

We always watch Home Alone 1 and 2, Christmas Vacation and Jingle All the Way every year.

Home Alone > Home Alone 2 > Spider-man No Way Home > Santa Clause > Toy Story > Die Hard > Paul Blart Mall Cop

Muppet Christmas Carol > all

It's a Wonderful Life is my #1. Scrooged is also one that I can rewatch every year.

Love Actually is another that I like a lot, although mostly for a couple of the sections over the others (Bill Nighy is amazing.)

Honestly can't stand most of the others. Elf used to be something I liked, but seeing it 20 times is too much.

I liked it back when it came out, but it would have been trashed if released today:

All the women are objectified

Almost all the relationships are lopsided with the man having all the power over her

Almost all the men are quite a bit older. Yes, I know this part makes me a hypocrite as I am much older than my fiance, but it is the obvious trend that is concerning

I also have to give a shout-out to the old Miracle on 34th Street. I've always liked the courtroom scene where he 'proves' that Kris Kringle is in fact Santa Claus - clever without falling back on the more standard 'you just gotta believe' sappiness.

Admittedly some of the blue humor is a strange fit, but it was a lot easier to look over that in the edgy late 90's / early 00's. Just like nearly every other comedy he's made, Jim Carrey's overracting / facial contortions almost singlehandedly sell this movie.

Dont get me wrong, I love it. I find it hilarious it got snuck into a kids Dr. Seuss movie. Its a perfect adult joke for the parents. It just blows my mind every time I watch it.
Edit: And Jim Carrey is perfect as the Grinch.

I don't know what's worse the fact that you haven't seen Ernest Saves Christmas or the fact that you saw Christmas with the Kranks and thought it was good enough to even bother listing as one that you've watched

and I hated everything about Christmas with the Kranks

One of my more favorite Ryan Reynolds movies. I do forget that it's a Christmas movie. Definitely need to include that in my watches

First three that come to mind.

I no order:

The Santa Clause trilogy
Muppets Christmas Carol (best christmas carol movie)
Gremlins
Home Alone 1 and 2
Christmas Chronicles 1 and 2
And many more that are not that noteworhty

Yes I like the overall subtlety of the whole movie, including the ending. Do you believe?

This movie is a musical remake of the older Holiday Inn. A couple of war buddies conspire to help out another war buddy (their commander, I think?). Its uneven (IMO) but has some good moments.

It's a Wonderful Life (in 4K UHD BD)

I love this movie but my husband refuses to see it. A great commentary on greed and capitalism. (Hes not a greedy capitalist; he just thinks its sappy. Its not.)
