I beat the main game. I guess I have legendary hunting next, but dont think Ive got more than like an hour or two left before Ill be done with whatever I care to finish.

The tournament is fun.
Nice music too.

Managed to get the rest of my trades done so now I've got my diploma. Traded back the Koraidon so I won't have my living 'dex full until they give it out.

I looked at the exclusive and thought all the paradox Pokmon from Scarlet were way better than the Voilet ones.

Notable omissions-

No mention of general performance issues - FPS drops, shadows
No mention of the slow sprites loading in boxes
No mention of fixing Pokemon being stuck in the walls
Added functionality - no mention of adding a "page skip" to the Pokedex, no sound/sparkling for overworld Pokemon (Probably intended)

And yes I know this is mentioned-

Words can't describe how boring this raid is
But a Mighty Mark is a Mighty Mark and maybe I want to catch them all

Alas, I missed out on Charizard so having all the Mightiest Marks isn't in the cards for me. But I will be trying to keep up with the rest.

opening up Pokemon X on my 3ds and i'm immediately like damn the outfits were even way better here

X an Y probably had the second best character customization in the series, behind Sword and Shield. A shame how they've only managed to top it once since it was introduced.

I don't recommend it, I felt like it was mostly luck and things could have gone wrong (like getting crit'd or Paralayzed) but it saved me from raising another Pokemon to level 100 so that's nice

I made the boneheaded move of forgetting to check a Smoliv's tera type before leveling and EV training it; fortunately I was able to get through an online raid with assistance from people who didn't make the same mistake.

For anyone who missed the Direct, there's a couple new Paradox Pokemon in 5* raids right now.

Saw the patch was put. Don't care about changes or bugs, just need to know if it runs better now before I get it.

I didnt see anything about performance in the patch notes. I dont think we can ever expect this game to not have frame rate issues constantly while wandering the world

That Grass Psychic pokemon is a tough SOB if you ask me.

Performance didn't feel much better to me while running and doing the raids. And for all the bug fixes the raids got with this patch, they're still not perfect. One of my heal attempts either did nothing or there was huge delay and my teammates were already dead from attacks that happened after my heal.

Walking Wake is cool, but Iron Leaves is a big disappointment. Kinda lame they couldn't just stick them at the end of the Pokedex with new dex entries.

Pokemon Presents was underwhelming without a new Mystery Dungeon or even any other Switch spin-off.

I imagine dex entries (and wider availability - these are like the 7* raids where you can only catch one) will come with the DLC.

Yeah.........the direct was....bad. I mean part of it is because I read so many posts of people expecting the DLC to drop right after the direct so to read it comes in half a year from now is pretty disappointing, but that's my fault
(Also a lot of people expected the GB and GBA games to come to Switch Online, but at least I didn't buy that one)

But also no release date for HOME :|

No new game announcement...and honestly I couldn't care less about Pokemon Sleep

Everything in the game is just performing worse for me since the patch.

Don't mind me, just breeding a bunch of Hisuian Zorua.

The list of returning Pokemon in the DLC leaked, so be careful if you care about spoilers for that kind of stuff.

I don't know if I am imagining things but I feel like they made the game worse
Trying to find a Wild Vivillon and I feel like I see much less spawns and they pop-in only when I get close to them (like, much closer than before)
This is such a pain

Earlier I was thinking that it wasn't really a good idea to add support for returning Pokemon way ahead of the DLC release because the info would get leaked. But, I've changed my mind and decided it was the right call after all.

Hopped on for the first time in months to get these new paradox pokemon and remembered why I stopped playing this game--Tera Raids are one of the worst gaming experiences I have ever forced myself to endure

Just how badly did the battles go for you?

I just cant stand how your turns get constantly interrupted by battle messages (all while the timer continues to tick down), shit is laggy as hell, the menus to get into battles are bad, one shitty teammate ruins it for everybody

All very fair complaints. I do wish it was implemented better.

I think that saying "one of the worst patches ever" would be too much considering how many patches literally broke their games...

But fuck this, this patch sucked. Conidering how big the game is, how many things they need to fix, how much stuff they promised to fix but didn't...this patch is such a massive letdown
Just from the last hours as I tried to catch the version exclusive raid paradox in both versions, I encountered so many raid bugs
I used Screen 3 times in a battle, none of them had animation or even text that told me that I executed the move, but my PP decreased by 3
One time after I lost the raid, I could hear the raid still going with Pokemon cries still in the background and attack sounds effect. But a white screen. After a minute it went back to the game.
But now I did another raid, white screen after I lost, no sounds, no nothing - 5 minutes and still white screen. Had to restart.
This is truly, truly bad

Not a patch issue but-
Not to mention how I hate the very concept of how playing with people make it so if they get knocked out it fucks the timer
It only encourages you to play offline and make you angry at others and blame them

They nerfed Dondozo and that's all that really matters in the end.

Finally came back to catch Surfin' Pikachu then update for my Walking Wake wahoo.

Water Absorb Clodsire strat for Pika, then just pulled out my Kilowattrel for Walking Wake which did the job fine first try.

Then got the Pikachu for my sister's Switch and the rest of the day building her Skeledirge to join me taking on Iron Leaves tomorrow since she can host for me with Violet

Next 7* raid is Flying-Tera Decidueye.
