Did you get a terrible nights rest? How was it?

I imagine at least some of you have crashed for multiple reasons. Rest areas during a long trip, late nights having had too much to drink (not endorsing this however), or whatever, etc.

I would get off work and pull in at a gas station and sleep. Just make sure your keys on your dashboard.

We just had this topic. And yes. After partying eith my female friend the car broke down and I had to wait until my dad would be up.

All the time for work. I have a cot that fits in the bed of the pickup. Slept in my personal van plenty too.

Did you sleep well? And yeah, I haven't been checking here a lot lately.

Yeah. It was fine when I was a teenager or in my 20s.

Havent done an overnight in a long time, but these days Im stiff and sore from a 3 hour nap in the car which I have done a few times in recent years.

Yes, when I closed/open at work and had to drive home during rush hour. Would begin to swerve in traffic so found a parking lot and took a nap, not too comfortable, but beats killing someone.

Slept in a mini cooper seat once. Was not very fun.

I have a 3rd gen 4Runner I removed the rear seats and built in custom drawers and a flat surface as tall as the wheel wells with a mattress on top. I did 3 cross country road trips in there and probably slept there 50 times camping over the years.

3 years ago I removed the stuff and returned it to stock.

Long time ago in a Ford Escort. Probably the worst semblance of sleep I ever got in my life.

I've taken short naps in my vehicles but never had to spend the whole night in one.

I dozed off a number of times during lunch when I worked nights.

And not slept, but I once woke up in my driver's seat after blacking out. I stopped drinking after that

Yeah that's quite scary. Additionally you can get a ticket for it in many places (blacking out in the drivers seat with keys on you).

I've never owned a vehicle (other than a bicycle). Though when I was young, on holiday we used to sometimes sleep in the back of my dad's courier van at the side of the road. Another time I slept in my friend's car when we were about to go hiking but arrived too late.

Not overnight, no. The most I've ever done was a couple hours or so while I waited on someone in a parking lot.

college, after exams and moving out of my dorm but before my 6-8 hour drive home

post-college, while camping with friends in the boondocks (because i prefered my car over a tent)

and once on an out-of-state gig with my band because they were all asleep by the time i arrived in town, having departed after leaving work that evening

I did in the 90's. I had a full size bed with a fold-down bed in the back, though, so it wasn't any different than camping.
