They're all recast like once every few years. I think Sonic's had two different VAs since Adventure 2 by this point. Eggman's the only one who's had the same voice since like forever.

Anyway yeah, everyone sounded the best back in Adventure 2. Esp Shadow.

While I do love that cast, the Sonic Colors / Sonic Boom - present cast has grown on me. I love Roger Craig Smith as Sonic. Aside from Mike Pollock as Robotnik, I never cared much for the Shadow the Hedgehog / Sonic X era cast.

At first I thought they had replaced Mike Pollock in Frontiers, idk why but he sounded a bit off in the opening cutscene. Glad that's not the case though

Er Eggman got replaced around 2005 when Deem Bristow passed away.
