Easily yes.

Yes. It's a slow burn and dry at times outside the famous car chase, but it's worth it. It actually won a technical Oscar (can't remember which category) for how true-to-life the attention to detail was in the hospital scene.

Fun fact, it's the first movie to use the word 'bullshit.' Technically The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly would have held that honor (since it released two years earlier overseas), but the scene containing said word didn't make the final cut (it appears on the extended edition).
