Now that you're in Kamurocho you should prioritize the Return to the Dragon Palace substory so you can train with Komaki. Learning Komaki Parry and Tiger Drop as early as possible is essential if you don't want to get your cheeks clapped by some of the later bosses.

I've heard that Yakuza 3 remastered has some glitches with its mechanics. Like the quickstep doesn't go as far, your heat bar drops twice as fast, and enemies block more than in the PS3 version. I heard it was cuz the game logic wasn't adjusted for the double frame rate. Is that true?

If the quickstep was nerfed in 3 remaster then I don't feel like it was by much because Kiryu still feels really slidey when he quicksteps in that game. Akiyama though, now his quickstep was noticeably nerfed. Dude, Akiyama's quickstep sucks ass in the 4 remaster.

And as far as Tiger Drop in 3 goes, I actually prefer Parry in that game. Feels like it has a more forgiving window, it opens up enemies to combos, and it has i-frames, which Tiger Drop doesn't in 3. Also, Dragon King Essence, always feels good to pull that off in a climactic fight.

Cigarettes are weird with ratings boards. If you someone smoking in an animated feature it's an automatic R rating.

Might have something to do with changing the title art of Y3 Remaster to not have Kiryu smoking.

I know a bunch of other things got cut, like Answer x Answer, some insensitive substories, product placement with Pepsi and Axe products, hostesses's likenesses, and certain songs (including the intro song).

The original US PS3 release also didn't have the licensed intro. There was a lot of proto-GG complaining about any localization changes in anything those days, and you'd think by some people's reactions that the games were unplayable because they changed the intro song. Especially for Yakuza 4.

I'm a couple of chapters in and honestly I like the Orphanage stuff >_> I know a lot of people complain about it, but I'm digging it. And this rendition of Haruka is probably my favorite so far. It's like Kiryu is a patriarch of his own family and Haruka is his right-hand Captain, keeping all the kids in line. It's pretty fun
