GenesisSaga 11/09/22 11:12:47 AM #6:	You guys have no idea how happy seeing this result just made me. Seriously, I'm going to be riding this high all day long probably. Death Note is not by any means my favorite anime, let alone my favorite animated series but it means a lot to me. In the last Save My Anime I participated in from start to finish I fully supported DN to championship. It's in my top 5 for anime and probably my top 10 for overall animation (maybe not because I'd have to sit down and really think about it, but certainly it's up in my top 15 somewhere). L Lawliet is my favorite anime character of all time, and Light Yagami is one of my favorite ~~villain protagonists. Again I'd have to really think about it, but I'd probably rank him right under Walter White.~~ I've fully watched the Viz Media dub at least five times and the subtitled original (or at least the Netflix translated version) twice now. Yes I even enjoyed the divisive second season which I'll fully admit is a step down in quality for various reasons I won't get into because that's way too many spoilers for one post. Ultimately I didn't think it detracted that much from my whole enjoyment of the series. Suffice it to say I'm a pretty big fan. I'm thrilled that it not only defeated a former two-time champion in Futurama, but also that, true to form it did so in the same manner as almost every other victory it had in this tournament: barely overcoming the opposition in a real nail-biter of a round! It's just like Light and L would have wanted it. I'll be celebrating tonight in DN style. In short... hombad46 posted...
