I don't understand how Oz was even allowed to run for Pennsylvania despite not living in it.

Walker and Warnock will probably go to a run-off, and judging from past run-offs there recently the Dems always do better in them. Walker also won't have the extra votes he was getting from people enthusiastic about Kemp but meh on him (which there were A LOT of)

I don't get how people are enthusiastic about Kemp.

At best, he's boring. At worst, he's a pandering piece of shit seeking to restrict the rights of his constituents

He does pretty well with the conservative leaning moderates who dislike Trump. He actively stood up against Trump over the election results and beat his handpicked challenger in the primaries.

That's just it. He ran a better campaign than abrams. Even killer mike (a huge bernie supporter) supported kemp for actually going into black communities, while abrams ran a more national democratic campaign. Kemp fucking sucks, but he ran a better campaign for GA.

Honestly that kind of shows how desperate they were.

They couldn't find a good candidate among themselves so they had to rely on someone with wholesale name recognition

And oprah (his creator) endorsed Fetterman a few days ago. Sad!

I feel like Oprah really needs credit here too. After that debate, it looked very, very nasty. Her endorsement might have been the rope that pulled him over the finish line. She's very influential.

Voters are stupid and the biggest issue seems to be he hasn't been in PA long enough rather than any of his actual policies or endorsements.

I'll give her credit for doing the right thing. But I personally don't think her late endorsement had a significant impact on the results. I think PA voted for the local, non-establishment guy who has a history of fighting for Pennsylvanians, as opposed to the Non-residential TV doctor who didnt even know the steelers had a bye-week this weekend (smh).

Also, the race only tightened when Fetterman's stroke was brought to the forefront of the national media. He was leading by ~10 points up until around a month ago. They saw his debate performance, and still trusted him to be a better representative of their needs. Again, props to PA
