I think

We have quite enough conservative law here

Dems sometimes win here, it's not hopeless

I'll be honest though idk anything about the candidates

Probably ain't even dems

Also I don't want you to convince me anything anyway idk why I made this. Boredom maybe

Vote R I guess if you're good with Roe v Wade being overturned, their continued attack on the LGBTQ, their continued election result denialism, or if you're okay with that fact that they don't seem genuinely concerned with the KKK and Nazis being prominent at large Republican gatherings at numerous occasions (Hi again MAGA mods, there's photo evidence of this so it's not trolling )

Thats how I voted in my state. Im pretty stressed out about it because I have watched my city and state get inexplicably more and more right wing over the past few years. We are swarmed by people coming from Texas and Wyoming.

Our current governor (democratic) is actually doing a horrible job, but his opponent literally wants to ban abortion, marijuana, etc. I moved to escape the Deep South and I dont want to turn this place into it.

The DNC are a bunch of statists. The GOP is too though especially in Mississippi. You shouldn't vote at all, complete waste of time, but I don't care.

I gotta admit I thought more of you than to make an obvious political circlejerk topic just to tell people you're voting a straight D ticket. You don't seem like someone who cares about validation from the status quo.

If my state was as lowly ranked by every metric and for as long as Mississippi, I'd vote for the opposition party on everything just out of spite.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

I don't. You must have the wrong idea

I have plenty of "conservative" beliefs too and idgaf what anyone thinks about it

It's just a topic to talk in while I'm between tasks

Easy.

  • David Duke, Don Black, Richard Spencer, Steve King, and Thomas Robb are more than likely voting Republican! ..... Wouldn't you want to align with such upstanding citizens?
  • Republicans, if they take the Senate and say, Alito or Thomas were to die 5 months from now, McConnell could hold that seat for a Republican in 2024 again!
  • You could hold the sanctity of marriage for straights only, since well, you don't want to have a gay marriage sneaking up and imposing itself on you!
  • You'll make Elon Musk proud!

A whole lot of good things out there!

Rather not fight about them rn

I'll name one, guns. But I know that's not necessarily a conservative thing

Yep. I wish guns never existed but if I lived in a red state, I'd need one to protect myself, since Republicans think I am a pedophile by default.

It isn't. That's why Republicans keep making laws that restrict them while Democrats do the opposite (most recent being the flip-flop on bump stocks) or why you have direct quotes from people like Marx that explicitly state their feelings about guns. Republican constituents are just really easy to trick because they believe anything if they "trust" the source. It's why Republicans raise taxes more than Democrats on average yet run on the platform of lower taxes as well. Lower/higher taxes has nothing to do with the left-right divide, it's how they are spent that matters, but because there is a non-trivial amount of uneducated chuds it comes across that way when talking about American politics.

Was paper ballots too. First time I seent that since I started voting

The voting building was stationed by three black women and a white man. All old. I love olds, so I spoke to them. Asked em how they doing if they like the weather all that shit. There were like 6 other white voters in there and they only spoke to the white man

Good ol MS
