That's not technically true. I believe a game called The Medium was only released for Series S & X.

The Medium was timed exclusive.

Cmon TC! You're getting just as bad as Trickfinger was last year, with his constant "PS5 has no games!" topics. Both Microsoft and Sony switched their plans for the new consoles once the pandemic caused chip shortages. Games that were intended to be current gen exclusive got changed to be cross gen, since it was hard to produce large amounts of the new consoles right away.

We now have some games that are confirmed to not be cross gen. So it's slowly moving back to how things were planned to be.

I dunno why people are surprised that Microsoft can't get its shit together in game production. They've been that way since literally day 1. The only consistent studios they have are Turn 5 / Playground Games. Pretty much everything else either gets perpetually delayed, comes out mediocre, or cancelled.

I really like my Series X but after owning every Xbox since the original, I've come to accept that Microsoft is a company that consistently overpromises and under-delivers, at least when it comes to first party titles.

PS5s are almost always sold before they even go on display at stores. It's very easy to find a Series S almost anywhere, and pretty easy to find a Series X as well.

Most retailers still use a queue / invite system for PS5 sales.

The Xbox line literally just needs to exist to sell. Most of the time they make all their money back and then a ton more because they sell a fixed amount of consoles to people who buy every sports and yearly shooters every single year.
