It automatically concluded I lost the battle and booted me out of the battle <_____<

was the battle on a timer at all?
i think that's a possible setting...

Oh, it's a two tier castle map, couldn't see the 2nd gate for the fog and restricted camera <_<

Too used to Rome, where you just gotta take down the gate

The timer is like 50 or 60 minutes so probably not that unless you took a really long time.

I do know though some Medieval settlements have inner walls. So maybe that's it? Sadly I'm not too familiar with Medieval 2.

Fun fact, you can kill enemy agents by surrounding them on all sides with your own agents/armies and the moving one into the space the enemy agent occupies.
