No. The actual content creators have been doing this since before YouTube Premium. The only thing YouTube has to do with it is that even ignoring people adblocking their shit ads, they pay content creators fuck all. If you combined the amount of time I've saved by not watching YouTube ads and added it to my current age, I'd be midway into 30s now --- The name is wackyteen for a reason.
