Especially when you consider that SC judges are lifetime appointments unless a bipartisan effort is made to remove them (lol), they resign or they die.

If the supreme court is going to fail the country, then congress should be ignoring them at this point. The supreme court can make all the rulings they want, but they're not the ones in charge of the force to back them up.
