Maybe just 10 percent of the people who polled are gay, not taking into affect several people who are straight (such as myself) who would either decline to disclose or not even bother voting in that poll as it doesnt apply to me.

Gay? Maybe not.

Bisexual? Yes. Bisexual is simply finding both sexes attractive, not necessarily acting on it.

Definitely not. 10% being bisexual or seriously bi-curious is way more believeable

I dont know the facts but my gut feeling is less than 10%, this isnt really based on evidence

Within that 25 percent, half are bi.

Do you understand the rigor and scrutiny something has to go through to become accepted as a "Theory" within science at large?

It was a poll on zoomers reporting much higher LGBTQ status than previous generations. The trend seemed to be approaching a limit around 25 percent.

The implication is that every generation is more open with queerness.

Who knows, it could even be as high as 90 percent of ppl if society were accepting. Certainly we would see rates like that in ancient Rome, for example.

Nope. As a bi person, there are plenty of monosex ppl around. That idea, that everyone is a little gay, kinda erases bisexuality.

they are trying to fit in by picking a minority population that has its rights hinging on the whims of the next political party in charge at best, or completed squashed at worst?

Even queer ppl can discriminate against bi ppl.

It's true a lot of bi ppl just say they are straight or gay depending upon their partner because it can be easier than having to justify yourself over and over and over.
