Nice, kinda wanted to play lego hp.

Nioh 2 was ok, but I didn't play very much. I miss the phoenix summon from the first game, was a good crutch for noobs. It did have great character creation options though, very in depth.

I think the first Nioh game was on here before too. Kinda cool that you can get the whole collection this way.

And Ill try Lego HP

I didn't like Nioh 1 at all, but maybe I'll try the sequel.

Nioh 2s been like $10 new before. I think even less at one point....

Nioh 2 is a lot easier than Nioh 1 for anyone who played the original

And the villain is voiced by the guy who voiced Jiraiya in Naruto

That guy is in a lot of stuff, mostly JRPGs

Heavenly Bodies is the perfect sort of game for Plus in my eyes - it looks like a lot of fun, and it's something different, but it's also something that realistically I'd never get round to buying.

Honestly Nioh 2's difficulty is so low it kind of ruins the game. Nioh 1 went a bit overboard on difficulty, especially in the DLC and post game duo bosses, but I'd sure as shit rather things be too hard than as easy as Nioh 2 is. NG+ cycle in Nioh 2 is a terrible joke. You need to make it to NG++ for things to actually become interesting.

Lego HP are actually the only ones of the Lego games I've never played because I haven't seen any of the movies.

Lol after reading the topic i might pull it out of backlog. It seems if you liked the first you maye not like the 2nd and vice versa because ones much harder.

I prefer both easier and making my main (i think you customize your main in the 2nd) so good topic.

I think I made it to the second area but I just hated it. Dying and starting at the top of the cave system again just killed all desire I had. The game was dark, the areas uninteresting, same with the enemies, and I didn't like that stamina recharge system. I picked those stringy kunai things so maybe I just picked a bad weapon but after that I was done with it.

You arent really paying for the game, so it doesnt count as support, so no.

edit: figured it out. will need to buy the Nioh ps5 Complete edition while buying the DLC season passes separately at a later time.

have nioh (ps4) already.

Nice, I'll probably reinstall Nioh 2 to take advantage of the uptick in co-op traffic.

Dont come with the dlc though. Still makes me somewhat disappointed I bought the collection on PS5 for 40 when it went on sale only for both of them to be added to this.

I never understood people saying Nioh 2 is easier than Nioh tbh. Everything has way more health and does the same amount of damage (i.e. one-shots you), so longer fights = more chances to mess up. Replayed both recently and Nioh 2 still harder.

Lego HP is a lot of fun.

Burst counter, more tools, boss ki drains easier, etc

I don't actually think that's true. The parameters feel much more tuned in the player's favour. But if that's not the case, I guess the yokai ability/burst counter/anima systems are just that powerful.

I don't think I was stuck once in Nioh 2, outside the alpha and beta. Obviously that's not to say I never died, but there was no point in the game where I had to apply myself and take a careful approach, study a situation and spend many a try to get through it. Plenty of bosses and even just setups of regular encounters in the original game did that for me. I don't think I needed more than single digit tries on any boss in Nioh 2 NG cycle. And the majority of them attempts could be counted on one hand.
