This is pretty good, and cheaper than shaving cream.

Tomorrow is the test. Will you end up with razor burn from hell or will this be your new goto for shaving?

Soap removes oils from your skin which will increase the amount of friction the blade gets, especially after the first pass.

No offense, but how high are you right now?

No, soap does not increase the amount of friction in this situation. Come on, dude. What is that.

It's true, soap strips your skin of oils and increases friction after the first pass.

If you're going with the grain there's nothing to worry about. I can shave with just shower water without issue.

Soap does remove oils but the lubrication provided by soap is much better than your natural skin oils unless you're some kind of freak of nature with a super oily face

Can't you just use tweezers to pull out the hairs instead of shaving?

Maybe? Is that what you were trying to say originally? Cuz.....I mean I guess, maybe. Lot more to it than sheer friction though, right? Not shaving at ALL is way smoother and lower friction than any way of shaving. We're looking for results.

Soap works fantastic. You put it on, give it a good 20-30 seconds at least, then shave er up. Waaaaay closer shave than cream.
