hxh doesn't use power levels

hisoka is very strong. he had a fight against chrollo where chrollo pulled a bunch of wacky shit with his nen abilities. chrollo won. hisoka was technically dead for a short amount of time, but at the last second he stopped his heart with bungee gum (which, you will remember, has the properties of both rubber and gum) and used it to restart his heart. hisoka is now much more bloodthirsty, and is fixated on revenge against the phantom troupe. he killed shalnark and kortopi -- two abilities that chrollo used extensively in the fight -- to make sure that chrollo can't use their hatsu anymore. he somehow seems to have gotten stronger through the use of post-mortem nen; though it isn't entirely clear what the deal with that is.

and... through sheer craftiness, he might have been able to survive against the chimera ant king, but there's no way he would actually win against him in a fight

So one thing u need to know about chrollo is he need to fight with his book opened. Its pretty much saying he had to fight with a shit hand. Handicapping urself agaisnt trained nen assasin like Hisoka is a big no no. So what he do? Easy peasy lemon squesy, he just come up with a brilliant plan ese. He used a bookmark on his book that allowed him to fight with his book closed while accessing his nen during the fight. Also he had this nen tech eventhough the owner of nen tech just died or something. He also needed the owner of the nen tech to be alive or otherwise the nen tech will disapear from the book. At this point I dont care anymore. Hisoka make sure he "died" in explosion. Turns out he could restart his heart and get zenkai boost upon returning from death.

I love Hisoka as much as anybody but Chrollo made him look like a real bitch. Sorry but Hisoka wouldn't last 10 seconds against a serious Ant King.

Don't forget that Hisoka is using texture surprise to be disguised as literally anyone. We have no clue. Before he could only use it to cover up scars and shit, but that good post mortem nen boost apparently makes it fully heal limbs and well if it can do that, he can disguise himself as whoever.

He might learned to weaving his rubber nen into fine nen string to reattached her nerves and so on. Machi might be the only spider Hisoka will never kill.

Mereum should be so far above the rest of the cast that he could solo a room of the top 49 strongest people below Netero with zero resistance. Just his brute strength and speed alone is enough to overwhelm everything other than supersonic prayer.

Iirc Hisoka can and did heal himself with texture suprise using his post mortem nen.

Meruem would curbstomp Hisoka with ease.

This guy has a whole breakdown on why Illumi is Hisoka down to even how Illumi normally speaks compared to Hisoka. Even how they dress too.

yeah meruem and adult gon are portrayed as the strongest characters so far and nothing has disproven that, hell I don't even think most characters are even at a level that they stand a chance against a royal guard.

I think halkenburg and tserriednich might be able to give meruem a run for his money.

i hope it will be turned into anime, i dont read manga but love the hunter anime

Story's great. But like I've said before, the art is really not good. It's like 2 different artists are drawing in the same manga. 3 full years he could have had someone draw the entire thing, while he gives cliff notes of the story and poses.

Then the point I made holds footing. People have too much pride these days to ask for help when they need it most. The guy is a brilliant storyteller, but he's always had issues with his art, and his back has always been a source of trouble for him. As someone who recently went through a medical scare the past year, I've learned that being prideful will only get you into further trouble.

He needs to swallow his pride, bring in 2-3 helpers and just focus on the story. He can have Hunter X Hunter finished in 2 years tops if he just did that.
