I don't like the implication of the knife prompt that they're taking away the everlasting RE4 knife. -Don't like Leon talking to himself, especially with the kid voice. -That melee attack was terrible. I'd be surprised if it even did damage. -Slow walking and cinematic shit huh? Who'da thunk it? In the original game you just went in that house, fought the guy and hopped out the window, straight to the gameplay. They literally added a whole basement area just so you could slowly plod around and do nothing. Gotta take a week to move this piece of cloth, gotta watch this mook hold the door like that means anything on the second playthrough. Maybe some of it will be skippable...? Big maybe though. -Guns are weightless and unsatisfying, sound on them is really lame too. I played Payday 2 for a while so I'm familiar with not having a laser pointer or dot on screen but I still don't like the change. -There's a part where an enemy punches him and he's instantly grabbed. The cynic in me says there's no invuln frames/grace periods and that the game thinks getting stunlocked is part of an enriching horror experience or something. -Somehow, they have given Dr Salvador the Super Salvador attack where he runs and swings and made him less threatening than his original counterpart. -I thought these jogging simulators were meant to punish you hard for getting grabbed, why is he parrying a chainsaw? Even the original wouldn't let you get away with that. It's not even out and you've made Dr Salvador look like he's gotten the Ustanak QTE treatment. -He immediately went on to talk up the game world, graphics and the experience. Nothing about enhancing the gameplay, just that it's the same crap as the other two remakes but very slightly different. Tells you all you need to know about how this is being put together. -New merchant sucks. -He's shilling fancy special editions with exclusive addons. This is what Capcom does now so while it sucks, it isn't surprising. Haha. Pre-orders. It's complete shit. The crowd goes wild.
