Not directly, my great grandmother would be the closest, born in 1904 or 1905.

But in the retirement home she was at, there were some rooms with plaques on front giving a couple paragraph biographies and a couple were 1899 and 1898.

It must have been interesting to be someone born in the late 1800s, living to 80-90. They've seen more change over time than possibly any other people.

There are videos of elderly people in the early 20th century talking about life in the 1800s.

Possibly. I was born in 1990 so maybe I had some passing interaction with someone 90+ as a very young child. Nothing I actually remember though. My great grandma was born in 1917 so didnt quite meet the cut.

By the time I was a young teen it was of course increasingly unlikely.

Possibly. I was born in 1980 and as a kid my mother took me to where she worked at an old folks home a few times. So I may have.

My grandpa was 1900, although he was born in China before they switched to the Gregorian calendar so it's possible he was actually born in 1899.

I don't think so. My great-grandma who passed when I was young was close - I was born in '89, think she was about 93 when she passed, but I do have vague memories of meeting her so I was probably at least a few years old.

Nope.

I met my great step grandma but she was born in 1917. All my biological great grandparents were gone before I was born

My great grandma was born in 1898 and lived to 2000 so yes. Though I didn't see her much and never said anything more than hi.
