I've been following the JDM youtube scene for years, specifically one of the best R chassis restoration guys in the US. So I know what it is and the rarity. On the other hand, it's still just a 90's JDM shitbox at the end of the day and no sane person would be paying that price regardless of the rarity. EDIT: And the import isn't an issue at all, it's an R32, they've been legal for ages now. I agree the used car market is the worst it's ever been, but that specific model is extremely sought after. Not surprised. What's really crazy is I bought my Camry XLE in 2010 for $6,800.
