They're self-employed, most live such lives that they can't "duck out" for months at a time -- that apartment they rent for $19,500 a month in New York City isn't going to pay for itself. If his audience hasn't diminished to zero, why would he stop streaming? Guy's gotta make a living, and if people are gonna donate and subscribe, he's got nothing to lose by streaming and everything to gain.
