You could even say he's been redeemed in the eyes of the Larussos.

Sure.

But will he ever redeem himself in the eyes of the TV lady?
Alright, let's look at the facts here:

Johnny
  • Hung TV on wall across from door, as requested
  • Did NOT call Karen a bitch, just said she was bitching at him
  • Took a shit in the room designated by his host
  • Did a good job. TV was hung correctly, would have been level upon completion. Very nice job.


TV Karen
  • Said she wanted the TV on the wall across from the door in room with two doors across from two walls
  • Falsely accused Jonny of calling her a bitch, what a bitch
  • Directed Johnny to where he could relieve himself, became furious that he relieved himself
  • Did nothing but bitch at Johnny. Wow. Not very nice.

it's just a matter of applying critical thinking. how is johnny supposed to redeem himself in the eyes of tv karen when he has done nothing wrong? tv karen is the one who should require redemption, yet still lives in her own reality where johnny is somehow the bad guy in all this. it's just not right.
