I remember i tried to sign up for the navy when i was young because my mom did. When i turned 18 i got a tattoo on my hand. It was the only one i had at the time. The recruiter didnt let me sign up.

Why would anyone join the US army at this point? We spent two decades fighting in Afghanistan under false pretenses, then Trump forfeited the war as a political fuck you to Biden.

It's not possible for the US to win a war under the current circumstances because war is treated as a capitalist enterprise. Winning a war would be like ending a lucrative film series. The only thing that makes sense is to drag it out indefinitely. And so when the powers that be have made all the money they're going to make, all that's left to do is go home with a mark in the L column and remind everyone that we're still back-to-back World War champions.

Coming from someone with nothing but respect for soldiers, you're dying for nothing if you enlist in the US army under the current system. We cannot win until we've gotten rid of the war profiteers and the politicians who hate the other domestic political parties more than they hate international adversaries.

By this point all soldiers should just be behind a computer piloting drones and robots

When weight problems are added in with the other health problems, over half of young adults cannot join because of health issues.11 Additional young people are not eligible to join because of drug or alcohol problems.
