This would really suck. I record my PC game series at 4K. Also, I think the reason why YT hasn't been challenged is that it's insanely hard to make a profit. Sure, it brings in a lot of revenue, but the costs with running it are insanely high. A lot of YT's value comes in with it being a centralized hub for vids.
