I bartend in a rough area of a rough city. I've gotten more than enough threats to be shot outside after close etc than I'd like to admit. Bumping the odds up for it to actively happen? I'm a dead man. Pass.

Yeah, but you individually may never be directly attacked. Just your generalized location. Like imagine you're in a big town, the town gets attacked on the outskirts, but it's far enough away you may never even see it
