Fucking good boys tribal. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/0/7/AAF0JHAADs8L.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/0/8/AAF0JHAADs8M.jpg https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/0/9/AAF0JHAADs8N.jpg

Is this going to be trash? Yes. But it will also be the best deck.

At least cat tribal is reasonably supported. Dog tribal is just a bunch of shitty cards that sacrifice themselves to save another creature.

The first card means more land requirements. The last two only require plains. Its a solid idea, but I never play with more than 2 colors cause Im not that great. Even though Ive been playing since 1997.

At least it's not Elves or Goblins.

Dog is actually reasonably well supported, just not as a tribe onto itself. Isamaru, Yoshimaru, and Wild Dogs is actually pretty powerful as a base shell for a casual tribal deck. The problem is that it flat out has nothing to do beyond that point that is any good. You can lean into the first two and go into Legendary stuffs (Mox Amber is great color fixing and Kuranos + Rin and Seri is a strong follow-up to get boosted out) but you are just basically using a bunch of aggressive nonsense to sputter into nothing (as opposed to normal Amber decks that either turn aggro->DnT or just generally cheating out lots of artifact dank). Inversely you can drop being purely tribal and throw in aggressive things like Wild Mongrel + Madness stuffs to keep up, however you both lose your pure-tribal indentity while not actually doing anything better than budget versions of kind of crappy decks (ie. why not just be playing Dinosaurs or something?).

It is extremely trivial to have three colors, especially nowadays. Part of the reason that the Loyal Warhound explicitly calls out a basic Plains is because of that: there are just a ton of ways to get non-basic lands. Thus it's basically just a worse Knight of the White Orchid.

Back when I played my favorite deck was this blue green snake deck I made. I had insane card draw and whenever somebody tried to attack me I turned their stuff into a 1/1 snake. I had cards that put my graveyard back into my library too. I didn't really have any win conditions I just made games so insanely drawn out.
