I wouldn't consider myself woke because I don't like to label myself, but i was kinda born woke. And isn't Billy being a little foul here? This seems like a big no-no in the future when it becomes the current thing.

I used to have a few ugly guy friends back in high school and it always pissed me off how girls and guys treated them different. Shit is almost as disgusting as racism. It's gotta be some kinda ism. I always had a heart for the disfigured and deformed. Hell, it's not their fault. It's like making fun of people with glasses. Wtf? You're fortunate enough to have good sight, and you're shitting on someone who doesn't? lol wtf is wrong with you.

I think that's a word that has lost all meaning if it ever had any. I would never call myself woke. It's mainly used as a pejorative now anyway.

Yeah I was gonna say I mostly see it used to make fun of stuff that seemingly only has minorities or whatever for the sake of diversity and nothing else.

Though in all fairness it can be hard to tell of that's the case or the creator just had other reasons. Like if I where to make a movie book etc inspired by my life experiences and I wanted to stay true to my life expierences it would be mostly white till recent Years outside maybe a lot of unimportant Hispanic background/minor characters (grew up in a heavily Hispanic neighborhood) and in recent years it's just I've dated a black guy and like half my co workers are black.

Same here. They can have a burger in my case. Maybe someone else will offer a shake or a 7up for a complete meal.

woke is grammatically incorrect. The proper term is awake.

Half and half? I'm against taking characters with backstories (say Princess Peach) and making them act out of character (say, get kidnapped by Bowser, then proceed to kick his ass and walk back home). But, do I mind a black Captain America? Not at all. It's happened in the comics. Can't be Steve Rogers, but I'm fine with Isaiah Bradley.
