I tend to get games a couple of years after they've come out when they're on sale. Still waiting for Forza Horizon 5 to drop in price a little bit.

Ive played games a lot this year. did the REmakes 2&3, a healthy amount of my standard morrowind/FO3/NV/FO4/Oblivion plays, plenty of PS2/PSX/SNES classics i had missed out on, just came back to World of Warcraft a month ago after a 10 year absence, most every mario game on switch with my children, KotoR 1&2.... I cant think of anything else i've been playing this past year, but there must be more. Aside from Video Gaming ive been keeping up with my twice weekly DnD groups. This past year I've ran Candlekeep Mysteries, Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, and currently on Curse of Strahd.

Edit: I dont know how much I've spent on games. On DnD i've spent 100s, video games... Idk... another 200 or so. I dont keep up with things like that as I live on a loose budget.

I built a new PC and got a steam deck, so that's like 2 Gs on hardware alone. Prolly about $100 on games.

I bought Far Cry 6 + season pass (on sale) so about $45 there

I spent like $30 something on basically all the Wolfenstein games on Steam (joke was on me, they were on PC Game Pass)

I spent like $80 on a variety of game on an Xbox sale earlier this year and I've spent like $130 on Xbox controllers

Bought a SeX bundle and after trading in my XboneX it cost me $511

$60 on PLA.

Gifted a $50 E-shop card to so one

So at least a grand I'd say probably more around $1500 of games I bought and immediately forgot

Not much. I started student teaching in February and that went to May then I tried to get back into gaming and was just bored with it and also my controllers just would not sync with the PlayStation so it made playing impossible. Now Im teaching full time and dont have a lot of time to play but I do find time here and there. I did buy a new controller and I did pick up PlayStation plus so maybe $150
