The US didn't ban abortion, the SC left it up to the states to decide, some went and place limits at 15 weeks but not a single state banned it outright.

Only saw a few eps back in high school. Loved this koncept of pedo-bait & televised punishment. Mainly in it for the running gag of the decoy and/or Chris offering the guy a kookie, the "Oh fuck" moment, and the wild lies/excuses they try to kome up with.

Started having doubts a decade later when folks online kept saying behind the scenes Chris was a bad person and the show was entrapment, but now knowing that every suspect approached the decoy of their own volition and initiated the sexual shit, I say fuck the haters. As for Chris being a bad person, I still stand by the notion that you don't need to be a good person to to good things. As long as they ain't using the money to do bad shit, why should I kare that my [insert service provider here] is a sexist, tax-dodging boomer, or some big name doctor/soldier/scientist who saved hundreds lives is actually a greedy narcissist who doesn't give a damn about anyone beyond their money.

I'll make it very clear. That show is pro pedophile. They ensure the pedos get away scott free because of their mishandling of everything. People who think the men go to prison are wrong. They get their case tossed out when they go in front of a judge. All they have to do is say Chris Hanson did the interrogation and the judge sets them free

Chris is not part of the justice system nor is he an interrogator. Dunno why you would assume Chris' little interview for the show would mean the police ain't gonna do their own interrogation after they haul the suspect off.

You are right that these people do not end up with a lot of jail time, but unless I'm mistaken that's because they have not actually been kaught having sex with a minor or even sexting one. Sure they thought they were being inappropriate with a child, but seeing as it's really an adult, the only ones with serious legal dirt on them are the ones that sent CP. The question is, would you rather an actual child fall victim each of these guys so they kan be put away longer? Or would you prefer a lesser sentence, but their names/faces are now more known to the public while the risk Boogieman Hanson has other less konfident in even trying this shit?

A lot of them get away too because some of the judges didn't like not being informed of the procedure and the cops not asking them. Some of the pedos are also connected to lawyers and such. Some of them did like 5-7 years and one got life in jail. So its not all bad.

You seem to be pretty uninformed on the new abortion laws in my country. There are many states that went even further than 15 weeks. Several have banned it with the only exceptions being rape or very high risk of death for the woman carrying the child. Some, like Oklahoma, have gone so far as to make it a felony with the only exception being to save the woman's life. Others even want to prosecute their citizens who go to a neighboring state to get an abortion.

I find the actual show a combination of hilarious and memeable... yet sometimes sad, like that one dude who was clearly mentally disabled. Sometimes i felt like... There can't be a crime here because the victim is fictional. Maybe entrapment isn't the right word but it still felt a bit exploitave

but then all these extended chatlogs... I hadn't seen many before. They're pretty dark and take away any sympathy I had for some of these guys.

They were done by the book, Hansen being there didnt affect shit, at anytime they could walk out and not say shit. Also during interrogation only 1 percent of them asked for a lawyer and the others confessed like a bunch of goofs. They usually got lower sentences due to plea deals.
