gotta finish Cold Steel IV beforehand but I'm very excited !

I'll be getting it on PS4.

I've played all 4 Cold Steel games and the first 2 Sky games. All were solid games so I'm really looking forward to this one too.

I already beat it earlier this year but sure, playing in English is going to be worth it.

Yeah, this game came out after the third sky game and before cold steel 1. It has some unique quirks of its own but the two big things for this and trails from azure are remember to buff/ debuff in boss fights, and evasion tanks are king. If you don't have at least one, I can think of three battles that just become way harder.

The single greatest battle in the series is in azure.

I got Azure and Zero ordered for PS4 through NISA. Im pretty hyped.

It isn't that it is a downgrade, it literally came out years prior lmao

Edit: oh, and the knockback from attacks isn't as bad as it is in Sky 1 which I still need to finish.

I know that, but it's still gonna feel like a downgrade if the most recent game I've played was Cold Steel 4.

Yeah, Im looking forward to this. I never got around to playing it or azure. I honestly dont even know much about it. Are these the crossbell games?

to my knowledge these games + cold steel have overlapping timelines which will be cool to experience

Luckily I won a free PC code for the game from a livestream they did

Decided against getting the game at all after I heard they gimped the PS4 version and hid that info to trick people.

To sum it up, the PS4 version is basically a 1 to 1 port of the Vita re-release while the Switch and PC versions are getting upgrades such as graphics and all that.

To sum it up, the PS4 version is basically a 1 to 1 port of the Vita re-release while the Switch and PC versions are getting upgrades such as graphics and all that.

Okay so nothing too fancy, just scaling and a bit wider draw distance with slight graphics boosts. I beat the ps4 version that released years ago so this won't be anything bad in my book.

In general, the PC version is the best anyway since Steam/GOG are the only platforms were you can buy the entire Trails series one on platform.

The game had tons of dialogue that wasn't voice anyways, it's a very reading heavy series. That's not an issue at all. Do I need to post the list of visual novels I've finished in the past year?

Basically PS4 version looks and runs worse and doesn't have shit like message logs which is stupid for a game like the Trails series which has a ton of verbal diarrhea.

Nah, I just thought you might be referring to an English dub, my bad. From what I've seen it's not been clear for a lot of folks that this isn't dubbed since the CS games got a dub and presumably the newer Calvard games will as well when they come to the West.
