Honestly I probably won't unless I'm like physically unable, especially since it seems unlikely at this point I'll have kids or some other huge life change. And even if the state of gaming gets really bad there will always be a huge back catalog

If you say that you already don't play video games anymore you are banned

Yeah, I don't see any reason to think that people will stop playing video games as they age. Older people don't now because they didn't grow up that way, but I can't imagine our current generations sitting in nursing homes and NOT playing video games (at least until we're pretty far gone).

The industry will struggle to adapt to older gamers' interests (as they do now for merely middle-aged gamers) but there's enough money to be made that they'll gradually figure it out.

I think I'm getting to the age where I'd prefer watching stuff over playing stuff

BotW2 might be the last game I ever play ._.

Likely never. I see myself still gaming into old age, if nothing but for the nostalgia (though I doubt Ill be resorting to this).

Since I've been playing games for around 40 years at this point I don't see that changing.

When I can't I guess. I'd probably watch some sometimes. Like fighters. I don't have the patience for practice anymore so I'll watch some matches. Learning the timing for frames and shit just isn't rewarding to me anymore.

Probably never, but I've mostly already lost interest in new games. I just replay old stuff over and over. Which is a shame, because usually when I play something new, I really enjoy it (BotW, Stardew Valley, and AC:NH are all great examples from the last few years).

On another note, I've often wondered/worried about the long term future of the only MMO I play, Old School Runescape. Inevitably it'll some day shut down. I feel like there will always be at least several thousand people who will continue to want to play it, but I just don't know what that looks like long term (who will host the servers, who will maintain it, etc).

One of my longest running XBL friends is legally blind (though not completely 100% blind). I'm not stopping until I die.

If/when I lose what little hearing I have left it'll probably be a pain to adapt though.
