and then I got my ass kicked a couple times by a Hwoarang and then I got demoted. Anyway if I can get past overlord I will be pretty content until Tekken 8 comes out.

The hardest thing is to get to the next level, Genbu.

You get maximum points if you beat people of the same rank as you. Consequently, you lose the maximum points if you lose to people of the same rank as you.

once i realized you can change the settings to only people close to your rank its been a lot more fluid leveling up as well as getting demoted. Once I get to Genbu I'll probably switch back to Bryan or something. The netcode is pretty abysmal and there are a lot of cheaters on line with 16 wins and high ass ranks

I used to wonder why they had such low wins but high ranks. What happens is that when you get very high with one character, all your other characters get promoted naturally. So my highest rank is a mighty ruler. That means even the characters I have never once used online are still promoted to destroyer.

I guess they assume that because you have a solid foundation with one character, that you should be at least somewhat proficient with any character.

But eh...kinda makes sense.

I couldn't get into Tekken 7 for some reason.

I like Steve , the boxer. If I had the skills to play fighting games , that's who I would play .

Made it to Genbu with Kaz. When I get to the ruler ranks eventually it'll be a better feeling of when I had sex for the first time. First times due have a slight tendency to be bad though. Overall I am happy and I'm looking forward to Tekken 8.

Kinda but I feel like Tekken specifically is the worst fighting game to implement that. Everyone plays too differently for it work properly.

probably ultra gold. I'm a novice super silver in SFV the highest I ever got to was Gold but I mainly teeter between super silver and ultra silver.

my mistake overlord probably parallels to super ultra silver however since i made this topic i've ranked up a bit more (suzaku) so i'd say im at the cusp in between super gold and ultra gold now
