90% of the time my boss and i have no issues, but i have a bad feeling he isn't impressed with my work. a few reasons:

• found out he didn't want to hire me in the first place, he only did because they were desperate
• one time an evacuation alarm went off at work, and i handled it poorly (i'm a security guard). he was pissed at me, told me "did they train you on anything?" i did handle it poorly lol, but i was new and nervous as hell
• another time he got pissed at me because i didn't know where the elevator keys were. not my fault, i was never told where they were. it wasn't an emergency like point #2, so his anger was a bit misguided. this time, he said "you need training on EVERYTHING".

ok this topic had an alternate agenda, i wanted to vent about my boss lol. but i actually do want to know how your relationship is with your boss.

Eh

She's nice enough, but she runs 3 different departments, and that's probably 2 departments too many for her. So she doesn't put any thought at all into what goes on in our department (the bottom of her priority list) and it ends up screwing us. She doesn't take any suggestions either. I've been trying to convince her that we are slowing down and can go without overtime now but her go-to solution is to just throw bodies on the schedule. That's why I'm at work tonight doing nothing instead of sitting at home like I should be on Friday night.

Great. I have no problem talking to them and they are very good about listening and helping me be a better worker.
