Was pretty good. A team is sent to investigate an alien signal and finds an Eldritch monstrosity they name Rorschach. They find out the entire thing is alive and can respond but it's not actually conscious, it reacts automatically like a giant single celled, techno-organic lifeform unlike anything on Earth. There are also vampires with a scientific reasoning behind them. Turns out they were a predatory near human species that went extinct because of a random weakness where they couldn't look at perpendicular lines like fences or windows without having seizures and were genetically resurrected. --- Don't tease the octopus, kids! ... Might look into it, last 5 books I've read have been Star Wars, I need to branch out more. --- I feel sorry for the earth's population, 'cause so few live in the U.S.A. At least the foreigners can copy our morality, they can visit but they cannot stay. ... Copied to Clipboard!
