Every time I have gone beyond a first date there were obvious sparks. There were enough sparks to me to at least explain if there wouldnt be a 2nd date. At the end of the date it almost seemed like she didnt want to get out of the car. If she didn't want to get out of the car, she likely expected you to make a move. If the date went well, going for a kiss isn't that much pressure. It can just be a peck, but usually they will make it more than a peck. I worry that the MeToo movement (which I fully support) has made some men lose the ability to be assertive at all or show that they have interest. Assertive does not equal aggressive if done properly. Also, I have never initiated more than a simple kiss on a first date (but many of my dates have). However, if she did expect you to make a move, then I would think she would respond to your text and want a second date? Hard to say though.
