My wife has gone through it all so I kinda watched over her shoulder at times. Watched the Marineford Arc in its entirety and now Wano, but I caught up on Alabaster since my wife thought I would enjoy it.

Kinda wish they could do a One Piece Kai since it seems pretty obvious they really slow down the tempo at times. Really enjoyed Alabaster but it felt like 26 episodes that could have been 15.

Oh, in terms of the actual arc... Crocodile is cool but he kinda seems evil for the lolz. Like, dude basically had a license to do whatever he wanted to a pretty loose degree and he still decided, "Fuck it, Imma put that all at risk for..." and I'm not even sure what he was going to gain. Sure he can get Robin to read about the Ponyglygh, but he put way too much on the line for very little reward.

Smoker telling the top brass to go to hell was awesome. I really hope once the marines go to hell in the final arc that he and Garp take over and make the Marines actually honorable.

One Pace is the closest weve got so far at a One Piece Kai. Maybe when its all over. The pacing only gets worse the further you get

yeah Crocodile was basically going for World Domination based on what he was after

I mean... with the ability for the World Government to pull of Buster Calls and Crocodile being relatively weak AF compared to the Yonko, seemed a little crazy. Was he looking for Pluton or some other major war items?

The Ponyglyph explained where the massive battleship Pluton is. And it had the power to reshape continents, so, I'm fairly sure it's implied to be at least a one ship Buster Call. Which is an insane amount of fire power. Using it, yeah, as others have said, World Domination. Whatever happened in the Void Century is the reason the world of One Piece looks like it does. Probably up to and including the weirdly convenient geography for adventuring.

yeah this. Pluton as we see in Enies Lobby is practically unstoppable to the point where the creators thought they needed a blueprint backup incase it got into the hands of someone wrong

Though (Wano spoilers) he was kinda screwed either way. If Robin told him, he'd know that he'd have to go into Kaido's turf, and even then he'd have to somehow open the country's borders to unleash it

And of course, based on what we know of Crocodile's backstory, he had his dreams killed the last time he went to the New World, so it honestly would ahve been interesting to see how he'd reacted to finding out he'd have to go risk pissing off a totally different Yonko.

Though perhaps that's part of what the idea behind Baroque Works was. Quantity over Quality.
