It's possible. But more likely just that civilization will fall. I could see all the national governments collapsing and us going back to like Feudal society.

It's salvageable, but it is going to take time.

I feel like anybody who lives long enough has at least one moment where they feel like the human race is gonna be over soon. But who knows, maybe we actually get to see it. What an honor. Probably not tho. Hopefully not tho

It'll take more than 100 years probably. They're doing this because they know they'll be long dead before they can feel the effects to begin with. But yeah I think we're kinda fucked, and boomers will receive the blame in the history books, if that fucking matters in the slightest.

They benefited from all the things their parents and grandparents did to let them prosper, then once they really started to make money they voted for policies that made it harder to get off the ground and that benefited people with properties. Then they started investing in houses for profit instead of a thing you live in, destroyed the environment, stagnated growing wages for anyone not making a certain amount, created the credit system, created the predatory student loan system, pushed the need for degrees even for unrelated jobs (why does a basic scheduling clerk need a bachelor's degree?), literally borrowed money against future generations and left us with the debt to be paid off, took money from social security like they were addicted to it or something, voted for racist politicians to keep minorities from being able to get equal access to those same things, voted for a celebrity turned politician who fucked over hundreds of millions, let the AIDS crisis go unchecked until it finally affected enough white cis hetero people, helped grow the military industrial complex, didn't just help the prison industrial complex but pushed for harder sentencing for light crimes as well as the privatization of them, voted for another celebrity but not even one who at least had prior experience as a politician but instead had tons of cases of being a shitty human and scamming people, figuratively shot themselves and everyone else in the foot then blamed the liberals for it, allowed white nationalist politics to enter the realm of public debate instead of stamping it out like their parents had done, exploded bullshit patriotic ideals, attempted a coup to overthrow the results of an election and the government, and plenty more stuff I can't even be bothered to remember.

They are, without a doubt, the worst generation to ever live. They had everything and it wasn't enough so they took from future generations and then saddled us with the debt for what they had taken from us. And then they created a bunch of things to benefit themselves while the rules get figured out and it only serves to harm consumers. I have nothing good to say about Boomers because basically all of the good ones are long gone.

I will just say, there are some good boomers, and they got some stuff done and never sold out.

I'm at work doing a 10 hour shift. I'm 2.5 hours in. I had no issue typing that up while listening to stuff about a speedrun route. ^^

Oh right, and of course all of those "voted for policies that benefited themselves while suddenly being concerned with government spending when younger generations want to do the same for even more modest quality of life improvements" things. And they radically sped up the transition to our current insurance system. Basically, a lot of innocent people have been born into a hellish world that the boomers created and won't have to live to see.

As stated, it's probably going to take 100 years to fully undo what Boomers did. We aren't going to get anywhere pretending to be mad at irrelevant bs tho.
