according to the wiki, in legends 3 you were going to be able to sell his body parts for something and only his head would be left, which you would be able to kick around for fun like a soccer ball, so i'm assuming he's a robot, because that'd be really cruel and weird if a little baby was getting kicked around like a hamster in a ball

It does sound like a very video game thing to do. Feel like it's been quite a few times where a dev reveals some dark secret like 15 years after the game's release.

It's kind of back-cannon, but isn't a major plot point of the (general Megaman series spoilers) Megaman Zero series that there's little distinction between reploids and humans? It seems they've converged.

From what I remember, after ZX, the original humans go extinct except for the Master who is able to stay alive on Elysium while some kind of advanced organic reploids called Carbons are created from the Master's DNA
