My Fantasy league is trying something new this year, and we need a few more managers to complete the roster, so post if this sounds interesting! Our 2022 season is going to start out standard (the live Draft is 6:30pm Eastern Saturday night), until after W5 when the worst team will be disbanded, with all their players becoming free agents for any other team to pluck off the waiver wire that Tuesday. (Everyone has $100 in Waiver Bucks to spend over the course of the season so you'll have to spend wisely to nab the biggest stars.) The process continues, with the weakest team being eliminated every week until only two are left to go head to head in the W17 Fantasy Super Bowl! Some cool things about this new format... * less of a time commitment (since you're unlikely to last the entire season) * your season's success isn't 75% determined by what happens on draft night * instead, the winner will be the manager who most skillfully manages the waiver wire to enter the best bids and build out his roster with the new fantasy studs that become available every Tuesday * inactive managers will be quickly assassinated; no more being upset at someone earning a disgusting W14 W to knock you out of the playoffs only because their opponent was too lazy to manage their injured players * eliminations will be based on total points scored, so no more worrying about being a hard luck loser (who takes an L even though you scored the 2nd most points in the league that week) * how stupid is it when someone sneaks into the playoffs at #6 with an awful team, but their running back gets hot and suddenly they've won the whole league? never again If this sounds cool, post here and I'll shoot you an invite! --- Congrats to azuarc, Mario Kart 64 AND GameFAQs Contest Legend! board8.fandom.com/wiki/The_Show | thengamer.com/xstats ... Oh geez. I've wanted to try a guillotine league for awhile but my live draft is tomorrow at 7...and then another B8 draft starts at 7:15. I don't think I can juggle 3 drafts at once lol ... Copied to Clipboard!

You could set your pre-draft ranks and still get a good team in this league while the robot picks for you. As I mentioned, this is the league where the draft matters the least, so you should be fine just actively juggling the other two.
