Like maybe answer a few psychological questions.

at least provide two options for getting placed.

1. you get to choose
2. game chooses for you based on your personality.

You could always just take the Pottermore quiz and just choose whatever house you get from that

thats why I said they can either choose their house or let the game choose for them

those that want an immersive experience can let the game choose for them

I feel like its so inconsistent. Ive taken that shit 3 times and Ive gotten 3 different houses each time

hogwarts legacy really makes you feel like a harry potter

It's not like choosing your house is that out there in-universe, Harry did it in book 1.

The Pottermore Quiz used to be rigged to try and keep the house populations even. Idk if it's still like that.

But either way I think a personality test is a fun way to do it, but in-lore the hat will acquiesce to whatever you want so let players take the test and then have a cheat option at the end for the people who want to guarantee certain placement.

They let you link your Wizarding World account to WB Games if you want. It brings over your house and wand and you get some special robe and mask.
