So my laptop can connect to the internet but thats it. No other device, wired from the modem or router or wireless can connect besides my phone. Not my PS5, my Fire TV, or my TV. My ISP can't help me and I'm stumped. What could it be? Thanks! --- "I'll see you in Hell, William Munny" "Yeah..." ... Copied to Clipboard!

Factory reset the router. It sounds like it's tied to the MAC address of the laptop and it's expecting the laptop to become the new network sharer. --- Fear the http://img.pestilenceware.com/Zangulus/Beard.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Would just buying a new router at this point do the trick? --- "I'll see you in Hell, William Munny" "Yeah..." ... Copied to Clipboard!

are devices that have no internet getting dynamic IPs? no -> configure DHCP on the router and make sure the devices are requesting dynamic addresses. DHCP could be full though that seems unlikely at a residential location. maybe if your wifi was unsecured and every mobile device in the area was grabbing an address, but seems unlikey. yes -> maybe a firewall issue? I wouldn't expect it to be. I would want to try pinging some internet addresses. maybe DNS? make sure DHCP is providing correct DNS addresses. if you ping google.com it should be able to resolve to an address for example. main thing will be to look in the router configuration and see what's going on as well as check configuration on clients that aren't working and try pinging from them. (not as easy to diagnose when the device is something like a TV and not a PC.) --- The truth basks in scrutiny. http://i.imgur.com/GMouTGs.jpg http://projecteuler.net/profile/Sahuagin.png ... If wired straight from the modem doesn't work then it's not a router issue, you already eliminated that. --- sdoo ... Copied to Clipboard!

Check your computer's IP settings. Is it on DHCP or is it a specific address? ... Copied to Clipboard!
