I would depend on how lazy I was feeling, if I didnt have any reason to look my absolute beat, I would often let it grow. Now I cut it myself once a week.

I cut mine arbitrarily like every other month, but I keep the bangs long. I'm basically sporting a stereotypical anime look now; short hair but lengthy bangs.
