Agreed. I don't think it needs to one hobby that fulfills all of them, as your example above, but that's not a bad one. But just going out and doing stuff in general. I always advocate that people joining Meetup, as I have helped run them and have seen lots of guys from asocial loners to having friends and getting into relationships. It works.

I'm already using more dating apps than I can even remember all the names of. Those are stressful enough, so I'm not going to add another one, especially not one that's primarily used for friendship and being social. The various dating app's primary focus is relationships, with some of them just having other options for friends, so I'm going to stick with the apps that focus on the thing I want.

You are missing the point entirely. It is not a "friendship" app. It is about going out and doing shared interests with a mixed gender group of people. That leads to relationships. Sitting on your butt will accomplish nothing, especially if you say the dating apps aren't working. You want change? Do something.

Going out and doing shared interests with a mixed gender group of people is very much easier said than done when a major component of your social disorder is reflexively avoiding exactly that.

There's also the part where I loathe guys, and refuse to associate with them anywhere in-person. My interactions with guys consist entirely of online places like this board and WoW, and whenever I buy something and the cashier is one. Not interested in actually meeting or getting to know a single solitary one.
