I'm not expecting to make it much past 70 anyway, but 69 (nice) would be good enough for me. I'd use it to visit parts of the world and not have to worry about the costs of travel.

Teleport a couple people to Mars (and leave them there obvs), figure out a good way to steal a ton of money in as few trips as possible, then teleport sparingly when I really need to or really don't feel like driving.

Its not. You can still get hurt/killed. You just have the ability to teleport, and each time you use it reduces your 35-years-remaining lifespan by a month.

You could have been referring to the part about each teleportation reducing your life by a month, so just had to be sure.

But yes, youll live for another 35 years (barring being killed), but each time you teleport takes a month off that number.

no, that's been established. But I'm asking a deeper question. Obnviously, you go over the limit. So when do you die? Mid teleport? Pre-teleport? Upon arrival, which puts it over? It's a flaw in the premise. How is the flaw adressed?

Suppose you stand in front of a train and teleport at the exact moment that it strikes you. Not an instant before or after. Are you dead? Or did you teleport? Try to think of it in the context of shrodinger's cat.
