I take vacations, I just don't call out sick unless need to. I have a supervisory role and a tight schedule so unexpected illnesses suck.

I feel you on that. Last time I was ever sick was 2017. I was able to fight off a mild fever recently before it was able to become a full blown cold. It's more annoying than anything. I'd only ever call in if I truly felt like my performance and productivity were hindered.
