If it was fake you damn well bet at the height of the cold war the Soviet Union would have been doing everything in its power to reveal it.

They were completely faked.

It was impossible to go to the Moon in 1969 and it is completely impossible today to go to the Moon.

We can send robots to everywhere in The Solar System but sending a Human anywhere is still impossible.

They were going to get Stanley Kubrick to do the whole "fake" Moon Landing, but he demanded they shoot on location.

I'll say this much: it'd be much easier to fake it than to do it for real

Faking it would have been much more expensive and difficult than simply landing astronauts on the lunar surface. (less hush payments and risk of whistleblowers that way)

It is real. Those photos are proof positive. Shadows on Earth are almost never that dark as they are on the Moon.

Sending probes/robots/rovers to everywhere in The Solar System and into interstellar space is a piece of cake but for Humans the best we can do is low Earth orbit.

I take it you have never watched any Sci-Fi movies or TV programmes right?

Take Star Trek. All you need is a painted backdrop, the correct lighting, some sand and maybe a a carpet or net with stones attached and vola you have your alien planet for the week. Also look at all the convincing looking spaceships that they can do.

Look at all the covincing alien planets and spaceships movies can do with their budgets and they have no where near the budget that NASA would have had to fake the Moon landings.

It is cheaper to fake than to actually go to the Moon.

Listen you lot Humans have been into Space. Skylab, Mir, The Shuttle, Soyuz and The ISS all happened.

We can not go further than low Earth orbit because of something called The Van Allen Radiation Belts. These belts are cause by Earths magnetic field and the solar wind from The Sun. The Solar Wind is a stream of charged particles emminating from The Sun and they get trapped in Earth magnetic field and they stretch for thousands of miles into space.

We currently have nothing yet that will protect a Human going through these belts of intense radiation.

So yes we have been iinto space but only into low Earth orbit.

a quick search brings up this article about them going through the radiation belts and getting less than a CT scan's worth of radiation:

So how did NASA solve the problem of crossing the Van Allen belts? The short answer is they didnt. To get to the moon, a spacecraft needs to be travelling quickly to climb far enough away from the Earth such that it can be captured by the moons gravity. The trans-lunar orbit that the Apollo spacecraft followed from the Earth to the moon took them through the inner and outer belts in just a few hours.

Although the aluminium skin of the Apollo spacecraft needed to be thin to be lightweight, it would have offered some protection. Models of the radiation belts developed in the run-up to the Apollo flights indicated that the passage through the radiation belts would not pose a significant threat to astronaut health. And, sure enough, documents from the period show that monitoring badges worn by the crews and analysed after the missions indicated that the astronauts typically received doses roughly less than that received during a standard CT scan of your chest.

A common thread amongst conspiracy goofs is to only use anecdotal or qualitative data. When asked to hash it out with actual calculations, which is what NASA and science in general does, they scream and stomp and rant about some manufactured boogeyman in their head.

space telescopes looking at stars so faraway even beyond our own galaxy and assuming there are planets that could sustain microscopic life and shit
but can't look at the moon and point out the shit the US supposedly left there

I love when they make it easy to tag them.

Anyway, if you actually know ANYTHING about it, the moon landing is obviously real.
