It's funny, I never took out student loans yet here I am paying someone else's off. Unreal.

High school kids are probably thinking the same thing, no future relief for them, and schools are going to be encouraged to raise tuition even higher. They probably look at people celebrating this like millennials do boomers and I can't blame them.

We should be nationalizing passenger rail travel and subsidizing it with the vehicle mile tax

And sadly for them they won't get either, they won't even get a portion of theirs canceled. Everybody's celebrating and patting each other on the back while attacking other grown ass adults for being bitter and rightfully so. Meanwhile the kids have now been fucked over even harder.

The anger about that is geared toward groups like conservatives and the mega rich, not millennials saddled with loans. And they are somewhat optimistic they can make change happen as boomers die off.
